Now go to Start->Control Panel->Appearance and Personalization-> Display setting and then click on the Adjust Screen Resolution in Windows 7, 8 and 10.
Now you have to hold the left mouse button on the slider control which is located under the Screen Resolution and drag the control to the desired settings to change the screen resolution.
After applying all settings click on Apply and then OK to close the window and return to the main laptop screen. The screen may blink briefly while applying the new settings, which is normal.
